Waterford Unified School District is pleased to welcome Christine VanDenover as the new Director II of Human Resources.
Deputy Superintendent Aldaco has expressed his confidence in the appointment of Mrs. VanDenover, saying “She shares our district’s commitment to excellence, achievement, and success. Her appointment will help the district provide needed support to our teachers and staff.”
Mrs. VanDenover has been working in education for 24 years, most recently as a TK-12 principal for Mariposa County USD. She holds a bachelor’s from Western Washington University in Interdisciplinary Child Development and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
When asked to describe herself, Mrs. VanDenover said, “I consider myself a lifelong learner. I am always looking for new learning opportunities whether they are from a book, a conference, or from a college course. In addition to being an educator, I am a mom, a wife, and a grandmother. I enjoy baking, arts and crafts, and traveling.”
Mrs. VanDenover begins her position in July.
