The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting scheduled training exercises tomorrow at Waterford High School and at a vacant house near Bentley and H Street. Please be aware that you may notice an increased law enforcement presence in these areas during the training.
There is no cause for concern—this is a planned exercise and not related to any active incident.

We appreciate your understanding as our local law enforcement continues their training to help keep our community safe.

🔔 Reminder: In honor of the Juneteenth holiday, all district offices will be closed, and summer school will not be in session. Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day or Freedom Day, commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. It marks the day—June 19, 1865—when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. #WaterfordCares #WUSD
