As a reminder, all parents/guardians must complete the annual information update before their children return to school each year. This ensures that we know you are returning, and that we have accurate student and parent information in case of emergencies. Students will not receive their schedules or class assignments until this important update is completed. Please log into your Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal to complete this update if you have not done so already. To access the update, scroll to the bottom of the IC homepage > online registration > required annual update. If you need any help accessing your parent portal, you can call the district office between 8am-4pm on weekdays: 209-874-1809. #WUSD

Today marks National Fentanyl Awareness Day, and we want to ensure everyone in our school community is informed and empowered to make safe choices. Fentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid that poses a serious risk, especially when mixed with other substances. Here are a few key points to remember: 1️⃣ Fentanyl is incredibly strong – even a small amount can be fatal. 2️⃣ It's often mixed with other drugs like heroin, cocaine, marijuana, or counterfeit pills without notice, increasing the danger. 3️⃣ Education and open communication are crucial. Talk to your kids about the risks, and don't hesitate to ask questions or seek help if needed. Let's work together to raise awareness and keep our community safe. Knowledge is power! #OnePillCanKill #WaterfordCares #WUSD

On Wednesday afternoon Waterford High School made history for becoming the first school in the Southern Athletic League to host a league track and field meet. This is not possible without the support of our community getting together and voting to pass measure K, which helped fund the construction of our all-weather track. We are so happy to see our amazing community members along with members of other communities in our league take in the first ever Southern Athletic League Track and Field meet held at WHS. Join us again in TWO WEEKS on March 20th as we host the second of three more meets to be held at Waterford High School. Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting our amazing athletes. Go Wildcats!!!!!

THANK YOU to all who have served! Veterans Day, or Armistice Day, was founded in honor of the cessation of hostilities between the Allied forces and Germany in World War I. The fighting ended on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. For that reason, we honor our veterans on November 11th. #WaterfordCares #WUSD
