Cultural Showcase: Explore the World With Us!
Waterford Unified School District’s Expanded Learning Program invites families to join us for our Cultural Showcase on October 22 at Richard M. Moon Primary School!
In the weeks leading up to the event, all students participating in Expanded Learning will explore cultures from around the world. Different grade levels will focus on different cultures, learning about their traditions, history, art, music, food, celebrations, and more.
On Cultural Showcase night, students will become the teachers! Families will have an opportunity to travel around the world as students proudly share projects, displays, activities, and everything they have learned.
Of course, no cultural celebration would be complete without food! Families will also have an opportunity to enjoy samples of foods inspired by cultures from around the world as they explore the showcase.
