Walk & Roll to School
Start the school day with some fresh air, movement, and family fun! Waterford Unified School District families are invited to participate in Walk & Roll to School, a celebration of safe, healthy, and active ways to get to school.
Families are encouraged to walk, bike, scooter, or roll to school on Wednesday, October 7. Those who would like to travel together can join our Walk & Roll Parade, meeting at AOG Church, 150 N. Pasadena Avenue, beginning at 7:00 a.m. The group will depart at 7:30 a.m. and make its way to school together.
Staff will also be waiting at Richard M. Moon Primary and Lucille Whitehead Intermediate to celebrate students and families who participate and practice safe arrival habits.
Walk & Roll is about more than one morning. Choosing active transportation when possible helps children get moving, promotes healthy habits, and can help reduce traffic congestion around our schools.
Wednesday, October 7 | Meet at 7:00 a.m. | Roll out at 7:30 a.m.
