🎉 What a way to end the school year! 🎉
Last week, we celebrated a truly special moment—our End-of-Year Attendance Assembly—and it was one to remember! A big CONGRATULATIONS to Alejandro Quezada for having perfect attendance all year long! He took home the grand prize to Boomers! We’re so proud of his commitment and dedication! Scarlett Lopez won a $50 gift card and Kal-El Figueroa pedaled away with a brand-new bike 🚴♂️ both for having perfect attendance in May. Way to finish strong!
⚾ A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Miller for donating Modesto Nuts baseball tickets and congrats to our winners Alyna Noorani and Julian Adriano! Have a blast at the game! We ended our assembly on a sweet note our 2nd graders made a tunnel of high-fives to send off our amazing 3rd graders as they move on to LWIS 4th Grade! 💛 Best of luck to them on their next big adventure!
To all our incredible parents and families THANK YOU for your support, encouragement, and teamwork this year. You are a huge part of our school’s success, and we’re so grateful!

Our 1st - 3rd graders raced, jumped, and laughed their way through Field Day on Thursday and Friday and wow, what a blast they had! From sack races, egg spoon relays, baton relays, to wheelbarrow races every event was filled with smiles, cheers, and that unstoppable end-of-year energy. Best of all we saw so many supportive families on the sidelines, clapping along, and even joining in on the fun. It’s moments like these that remind us how special our school community is. Thank you for helping us send the year off on a high note!

📚🏛️ Last week, our 3rd graders took a step back in time with a visit to the McHenry Mansion and Museum in Modesto! From touring the beautifully preserved Victorian-era mansion to exploring local history exhibits at the museum, students were full of curiosity and excitement. They learned about the McHenry family, life in the 1800s, and the rich heritage of our area. Highlights included the charming Visitors Center, a peek into the gift shop, and meeting volunteers in full period costume through the "Merry Maids & Groomsmen" program complete with storytelling and historical artifacts that truly brought the past to life!
Thank you to the amazing staff and docents at McHenry for making history so engaging and fun! 🕰️✨
