THANK YOU to all who have served!
Veterans Day, or Armistice Day, was founded in honor of the cessation of hostilities between the Allied forces and Germany in World War I. The fighting ended on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. For that reason, we honor our veterans on November 11th.

Once a month Mr. Chimente will open the Tiger Store during lunch for students to make purchases with their acquired Tiger Tickets. It's another great incentive for students to make choices that reflect Positivity, Productivity, and Professionalism.

At the end of the month staff members have the opportunity to nominate a student of their choice for the monthly character trait. The month of October was PROFESSIONALISM, and this group of students were awarded with a surprise pizza party for their exemplification of conducting themselves in a manner that positively reflects their work ethic.
Great job students! We are so proud of you!

This morning, as part of our Red Ribbon Week finale, students in grades 7-12 had the powerful opportunity to hear Johnny’s story, shared by his mother, Laura Stack. Johnny was a bright, talented young man whose life was tragically altered by his use of marijuana products. Unlike in decades past, today’s marijuana contains much higher levels of THC—potent chemicals that can profoundly affect the developing brain. Laura’s heartfelt message urged students to avoid marijuana products and prioritize their physical and mental well-being. Ending Red Ribbon Week with Johnny's story served as a powerful reminder of the importance of making choices that protect our health and our future.
