Agricultural Proficiency Awards honor FFA members who, through supervised agricultural experiences, have developed specialized skills that they can apply toward their future careers. Christian Evans persuaded his opportunity for proficiency for the 2019-2020 school year. The area of his proficiency is agricultural mechanics, repair and maintenance -enterpriship. Christian owns seven antique engines and tractors. He has invested over $50,000 in projects, parts, and labor. He won the sectional, regional, state, and now is a national finalist. There are only four finalists that will compete for the National Title. His competition comes from the state of Alabama, Minnesota, and Kansas A proficiency application is the hardest and most difficult student base application that a student can compete in the FFA Organization. The results will be announced on Tuesday, October 27th at 2 pm. Stay tuned! Waterford FFA and ag advisors are very proud of this young man!
