Happy Birthday to President Lincoln - also known as Honest Abe, the Great Emancipator, the Rail Splitter. He is best known for being president during the tumultuous time of the Civil War, and his ensuring struggle to maintain the Union. He is also the issuer of the Emancipation Proclamation, which fundamentally changed the character of the war - and our nation - forever.

Happy Lunar New Year! 💥
In 2024, the Lunar New Year begins on February 10th. Lunar New Year is one of the most important celebrations of the year among East and Southeast Asian cultures, including the Chinese, Vietnamese, Malayan, and Korean communities - among others. Each country celebrates in its unique ways. In China, it is the Year of the Dragon, and fireworks are used to frighten evil spirits away.

In honor of National Ronald Reagan Day, we are sharing this lovely quote, taken from his speech at Westminster College.
We share your views on the value and purpose of educational institutions. Well said, President Reagan!
