U.S. Representative Josh Harder visited Waterford schools on Wednesday, February 17 to hear about school operations during the covid pandemic and to better understand the efforts of local schools to educate children. During the visit he spoke with parents of English Learner students, as well as school staff and administrators. His visit coincided with a Distance Learning Wednesday, where he observed teachers and students doing their best to connect online. He discussed the need for broader access to internet for all students and his support of bringing additional resources to local schools so we can get our schools back in session and functioning at high levels.
